Voice Actor Auditions - 3 Roles
Thank you for your interest in voice acting for The Forbidden Arts. For these auditions, please do not add any effects to your voice. All auditions must be raw. Due to the number of auditions we receive we will not be able to respond to you unless we are interested in having you voice a particular role. If we are interested we will ask you how much compensation you are seeking for the role. Compensation is negotiable and will be paid via Paypal or similar service. Please send all auditions to info@stingbotgames.com. Please submit your auditions, with which role(s) you are auditioning for by Friday, September 21. Unfortunately we will not be able to listen to or accept auditions past that date.
1. Female voice needed for the Fire Spirit. The fire spirit speaks to the main character of the game in a slightly angelic and ethereal tone. There are 4 lines that she needs to say:
“Phoenix…”
“It’s Time”
“Rise…”
“Rise from the fire within”

If selected, you will be replacing these two lines as well as recording the additional lines.
2. Male or Female needed to record some noises for monster sounds.
We are looking for one voice actor that specializes in monsters. This could have been split into several roles, but we would rather find one individual capable of producing various sounds, as there are about 1-2 sounds per character type. Example lines to record for the audition are:
Skeleton Cackle
Undead Grunt, deep Moan
Ghostly moan, attack
There will be a few more voice actions to record beyond this, but these should suffice for the audition.
3. Male or Female role needed for a game announcer. The announcer will be performing vocal lines similar to something you might hear in a fighting game like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat. See reference videos below for examples:

This role is for a different game, in development, that takes place in The Forbidden Arts universe.
We need someone to act as the announcer for a game with action and fighting elements. Avoid the typical “Sports announcer” role. Deep voices tend to work best here, but unique voices might capture our interest too. Avoid cute, fun etc as this does not fit the gameplay style. Think of a voice that might sound great for a game that is very chaotic and puts you in the shoes of a badass, but do not get comical with the role.
